Breast cancer generally occurs within the breast, with a range of types that relate to its location, stage, grade and receptor status.
Currently, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed type of cancer in Australia with estimates indicating that 1 in 7 women and 1 in 700 men are expected to be diagnosed during their lifetime. And while rates of breast cancer diagnoses are increasing, so too are survival rates.
The Pink Finss Charity offers a range of programs and support for people diagnosed with breast cancer who live in the Hawkesbury.
